I began working in information technology in 2002 doing technical support for Apologia Educational Minsitries, Inc. I worked for Apologia for 7 years until November 2009. During those 7 years I moved from technical support to in-house support, server/systems administration, database administration, web development, and programming. I also did tasks such as audio editing, phone sales, and conference work. Some projects I worked on while at Apologia was a web-based sales system, which included online and warehouse integration and a conference sales system to replace the traditional hand-written paper system.
In November 2009 I left Apologia and moved to Dayton, Ohio where I work for Nova Creative Group, Inc as a web developer. I work with a variety of clients helping to develop a web presence for a wide array of industries. Many of these clients may currently have a strong web presence while others are getting a Web site for the first time. I have developed simple static sites consisting of one or two pages to sites with upwards of 50+ pages that utilize different CMS systems. I have also done custom programming for clients to meet their one-off needs in languages such as PHP, ASP.NET, and ActionScript 3. I have also done Flash animations as well as applications using ActionScript 3.
